Today I want to talk about courage.  

Courage is defined as "mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty" according to the Merriam - Webster Dictionary.

Everyday we are presented with the opportunity to challenge ourselves.  The chance to do something that we dreamed of, or an idea that sits untouched due to a fear of failure.  

But it is those that stand up to the fear of failure that truly succeed.  Image all the inventions and creations of the world that would never have happened without someone having the courage to fail.  Many times, there are many failures before one finally finds success.  Often, there may be no success at all.  There may be little encouragement or support, but does lack of support mean one should give up?

To have the courage to face an uncomfortable event or failure is in no way easy.  But  to have courage presents the chance for success, as long as one understands that success does not normally occur without a cost.

  

Take some time to reflect. Courage can be a powerful word if we believe in it.
