Eclipse!!!

Hello Everyone!

Yesterday was the first total eclipse to sweep across the United States in 99 years!  The last time was 1918.  Since then there have been other types of eclipses.  In Carbondale, IL, the sun was blocked by the moon for the longest amount of time, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. The total amount of time the eclipse lasted was 4 hours and 4 minutes, the time the eclipse to make its way across the United States.

Taking the time to go outside using special eclipse glasses, I was able to see this event occur in person.  I feel very fortunate to be able to witness such an event.

Today as I sit here writing, I find myself like so many others.  Looking for an opportunity. Even though it is difficult, I was always told it would all be worth it in the end.  I never exactly knew what that meant since I have never been satisfied with reaching a goal.  It always seemed to lead towards creating a new goal to accomplish.

The constant pursuing of something greater, no matter if I felt I could accomplish the goal or not, left something to strive towards.  I have found nothing is impossible.  Many of the issues I run into pertain to patience.  I have none when it comes to going after a goal.

Today, just as everyday, I am working towards the next goal.
I refuse to give up or let up on myself.  I cannot listen to those who are negative about what it is I want to achieve.  I know three things about me: 1) I am driven; 2) I have to be my best everyday, no matter how I feel; and 3) there is no failure, just redirections to reach my goals.

I hope my little rant about me helps you to find a way to reach goals that you have set out for yourself.

As Always,

Ali
